I am in quarantine with your shadow photography art project technical description

The photo equipment which I used for this photography project was Canon 6D and canon 50 mm 1.8 Lens. Canon 6D is an amazing camera for Low Light photography.

It should be noted I toke this photos during the golden hour. Furthermore in photography, the golden hour is the period of daytime shortly after sunrise or before sunset, during which daylight is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky. with other words The period of time shortly before sunrise and shortly after sunset is called the “magic hour,” especially by cinematographers

shadow as a subject in my photos

Obviously since I started to photography, every time I was searching for a unique subject for my photography. Especially between years 2001-2003 I did lots of photography with shadows topic, but all of them was with black and white film.

While 2013 I’m moving from countries to another country, in this case I didn’t had a chance for taking them with me, but now i decide to stay in Berlin, I will bring my all photographs from my home tow Tabriz to Berlin. really i miss them.

1. George Mayer

ABOUT:
George was born in Nizhny Tagil, Russia in 1985. In 2004 he graduated from the Ural College of Arts and Crafts with honors where he majored in environmental design.

Up to 2007 he worked as an interior designer. He participated and became a prize winner of Russian national contests of architecture and design. His works were published in professional books and periodicals for architects and designers by such publishing houses as Tatlin and University Press.

Moreover in 2008 he has been taking part in well-known international photo contests such as Photography Masters Cup (USA), The Spider Awards (USA), National Portrait Gallery Awards (UK), Maestro Photo Contest (Russia).

in year 2011 George Mayer won the Russian photo contest Young Photographers of Russia. The contest projects were exhibited in Kazan, Moscow, at the international art festival in Marsciano (Italy) and were published in professional editions.
