About the Professional Fashion Photographer in Berlin

I started to work as a professional photographer in 2000. Hi, my name is Ed Mehravaran. I’m a Professional photographer and Videographer working worldwide. I started photography in the year 2000 with Analog photography. Furthermore, I specialize in Fashion portraits and fine Art. After many years, I’m still in love with analog photography and offering analog portrait photography in my studio and outdoor locations.

After moving from my country to Turkey for my master’s education in 2013 I started to work as a fashion photographer.

Why Fashion Photography?

Turkey is a country with a lot of fashion and textile companies that need a fashion catalog for marketing and online shop catalogs. That’s why there was an opportunity to earn money from fashion photography; on the other hand, I needed to work, and that’s why I started to work as a fashion photographer.

Berlin is an amazing city with so many startups that need photography, on the other hand, Berlin is a kind of center of Europa, which means you can easily travel to other countries for projects.

About fashion photography lighting setup

Actually, a few months ago, I got an email from a young photographer who wanted to start fashion photography. I explained to him that his question was wrong because we don’t have any separation between fashion photography lighting or other kinds of photography types, on the other hand, we need to set up the light because of the Idea and object that we want to photograph, for example, you need to think about types of light, you want to build a soft or hard light.
