Shoot faster and longer with a flash
With its uncompromising performance, the Speedlite 600EX II-RT is the perfect complement to the EOS-1D XMark II. Up to 50% more flash shooting in continuous shooting, the new flash unit compared to its predecessor, the Speedlite 600EX-RT, and with the separately available external battery CP-E4N even for longer recording sequences.
Reliable performance on the camera or unleashed
Improved flash control algorithms help prevent overheating. The “Quick Flash” feature allows you to trigger the Speedlite 600EX II-RT even if it is not fully charged, so you will not miss a single moment. The rotating and tilting reflector ensures that the flash illumination corresponds to the attached lens and also allows indirect flashing by reflecting walls or ceilings for a more natural lighting mood. The Speedlite 600EX II-RT offers the same weather protection as the EOS-1D X Mark II, so the flash is fully operational in demanding environmental conditions.
The supplied bounce adapter allows soft illumination for portraits and attachable color filters help to match the flash to the ambient light.

The Speedlite 600EX II-RT is so powerful that you do not have to be frustrated. It is ideal to illuminate larger areas or to let the light reflect off the wall or ceiling for a more natural look. The delivery includes a bounce adapter that makes the flash even more pleasant. Charging is particularly quiet in just 3.3 seconds – with the optional available battery CP-E4N this time is further reduced.
Intuitive operation and clear display for uncomplicated handling
An individually configurable dial allows quick adjustment of the settings, which is very helpful especially under time pressure. The large, illuminated display shows the settings at a glance. The charge status of all the flash units in a group is also displayed on the Speedlite 600EX II-RT Transmitter Speedlight’s display.
