On the left is a female athlete; she appears deeply focused and full of energy. The photo was taken in profile; she is wearing a black sports bra and a black shirt, and her hair is tied back in a ponytail. She is holding onto the rowing machine while warm, golden light streams in from the side—enhanced by the time of day and the large window in the gym in Berlin-Tempelhof. On the right is the same athlete: Magda. She is from Poland and lives in Potsdam. On her arm, she has a tattoo—or rather, the logo of “3Zone,” a specialized training facility for HYROX—and a bracelet. She represents this sports center in Potsdam, and the people behind her are cheering her on: “Yes, you can do it!” The photo, taken by Esd Mehravaran during the sports event in Berlin, also features the “Gillette Labs HYROX Berlin” logo. The event is called HYROX Berlin Tempelhof.
