HYROX Berlin 2026 – The Event

The GilletteLabs HYROX Berlin 2026 event was held from 22nd to 31st May 2026 in Airport Berlin Tempelhof- one of Berlin’s most iconic buildings. With 10 days of racing, thousands of athletes from across Europe and an atmosphere that can only be described as unparalleled, this was one of the greatest events of the HYROX calendar.
Venue: Airport Berlin Tempelhof, Platz der Luftbrcke 5, 12101 Berlin. The colossal event space included not only room for athletes, but also an incredible Community Area with food trucks, lockers, and a genuine festival feeling. It was a top event photographier’s dream scenario.

In contrast to typical fashion or portrait photography there is no room for errors – no second chances. Every split second, each emotional expression, every single moment of physical effort must be captured.

HYROX Berlin – Looking Forward

Each year HYROX grows bigger, and this year was no different with thousands competing from HYROX Men to Women to HYROX Doubles, Pro Divisions and Adaptive category runners. Tim Wenisch finished the HYROX Men Pro race in a time of 00:54:50 while Lea Sophie Pommerening was awarded the top spot in the Women’s Pro category in 00:59:23.
The event is arguably the biggest sporting fixture in Berlin each year, and as a local event photographer in Berlin, I will, without a shadow of a doubt, be there to photograph it.
